CTT Organizes Cybersecurity Exchange Delegation in Macao and Hengqin to Strengthen Cooperation and Defensive Capabilities
MACAU, September 23 - The 2026 Macao Cybersecurity Professionals Visit and Exchange Delegation, organized by the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) and co-organized by the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, was successfully held on 21 September 2026. Over 30 cybersecurity professionals, representing private operators of critical infrastructure in the fields of television and audio broadcasting, telecommunications networks, qualified private legal entities of public administrative utility in the scientific and technological area, and commercial companies with exclusively public capital, participated in the event. They conducted study visits and exchanges at cybersecurity institutions in Macao and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
The delegation visited the Macao Cybersecurity Incident Alert and Response Centre, the Anti-Fraud Coordination Centre of the Judiciary Police, and the BoardWare Hengqin Security Operation Center. During the visits, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the operations and emergency response mechanisms of each centre, learned about the latest updates in cybersecurity and anti-fraud, and engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge protection technologies and practical application cases.
Through this activity, the organizer aims to broaden participants’ perspectives on current cybersecurity challenges and technological developments, enhance their professional knowledge and defensive capabilities, and thereby strengthen the cybersecurity defenses of Macao’s critical infrastructure and the overall digital environment.
